PURPOSE: A phyto-phenolic compound and a use thereof are provided to up-regulate the iNOS gene expression level through transactivation of NF-κB and to stimulate the NO production in macrophages. CONSTITUTION: A phyto-phenolic compound is represented by chemical formula I.
