Abstract | PURPOSE: A reading power control method and a system thereof are provided to lower an error rate by a micro-holographic reading technique. CONSTITUTION: A power control module(74) receives an instruction corresponding to a target data layer to be read from a disk. The power control module controls power of a reading beam from first power to second power based on the instruction. An optical head(82) makes the reading beam move from a previous data layer of the disk to the target data layer. The optical head focuses the reading beam on the target data layer. An actuator transfers elements of the optical head. |
