Abstract PURPOSE: Steamed rice containing medical herbs, and a producing method thereof are provided to enable users to intake active nutrients of germinated grains and medical components of the medical herbs. CONSTITUTION: A producing method of steamed rice containing medical herbs comprises the following steps: assorting grains, and washing; soaking the grains in water for 4-8 hours at 18-24 deg C; germinating the water soaked grains for 24-48 hours at 20-28 deg C; drying and steaming the germinated grains to obtain germinated steamed rice; adding salt and vinegar to the germinated steamed rice, and mixing to obtain lumps; mixing drinking water, the vinegar, the salt, Japanese apricot juice, and sugar to obtain sauce; dipping medical herb leaves in the sauce for 6-24 hours; washing and dehydrating the medical herb leaves, and wrapping the germinated steamed rice lumps; and rapidly freezing the germinated steamed rice, and packaging.
