Summary:PURPOSE: A pneumatic tire having a barrier layer and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to remove the fixed failure of the end of an overlapping joint which certainly fixed together through manufacturing the barrier layer by a cylindrical panel. CONSTITUTION: A pneumatic tire comprises a tire tread(14), tire layers(21), and a barrier layer(24). The tire layer is arranged in the tire tread into circumferential shape. The tire layers are installed closely each other and comprises a first end(21A) and a second end(21B) limiting a butt joint. The barrier layer is arranged into circumferential shape and comprises a first end(24A) and a second end (24B). The first end of the tire layer is located in the overlapping joint by the barrier layer.
