Abstract | PURPOSE: A method for determining whether to replace a battery is provided to determine whether a battery is old or the type of the battery by a data mining technique when an IBS is set by attaching/detaching or replacing the battery. CONSTITUTION: Power of an IBS(Intelligent Battery Sensor) is reset(S101). A plurality of start voltages which are generated until the rest are patterned by a clustering method(S103). A first Euclidean distance between the patterned start voltage and a start voltage before the reset is calculated(S105). A second Euclidean distance between the patterned start voltage and a currently inputted start voltage is calculated(S107). When the second Euclidean distance is longer than the first Euclidean distance, it is determined whether to replace a battery(S109,S111). |
