Summary:PURPOSE: An effective feedback method in a multi antenna supporting wireless communication system and apparatus thereof are provided to effectively support MIMO(Multiple Input Multiple Output) operation by constituting feedback information and a transmission method. CONSTITUTION: A terminal transmits a broadband first PMI(Pre-coding Matrix Indicator) and an RI(Rank Indicator) coded in a first sub frame(S2210). The terminal transmits a broadband CQI(Channel Quality Indicator) and a broadband second PMI in a second sub frame(S2220). The terminal directs a pre-coding matrix by combining the first PMI with the second PMI. The first PMI is selected by a sub sampled codebook index.
