Summary: | Systems and methodologies are described that facilitate avoiding interference with communication technologies. A communications apparatus comprises an interference detecting component for determining potential or actual interference with one or more communication technologies over a set of resources, and a parameter signaling component for transmitting one or more parameters related to the interference to an access point that assigns resources to the communications apparatus. An access point comprises a parameter signal receiving component for receiving, from the communications apparatus, one or more parameters related to potential or actual interference with one or more communications technologies, an interfered resource determining component for determining resources over which communications potentially or actually interfere with the one or more communication technologies, and a resource assigning component for assigning resources to the communications apparatus. A method performed by the communications apparatus comprises determining potential or actual interference with one or more communication technologies over a set of resources, and transmitting one or more parameters related to the interference to an access point that assigns resources to the communications apparatus. A method performed by the access point comprises receiving one or more parameters from a communications apparatus, wherein the one or more parameters are related to potential or actual interference with one or more communication technologies, determining resources over which communications potentially or actually interfere with the one or more communication technologies, and assigning resources to the communications apparatus. |
