Abstract | PURPOSE: An image reading apparatus and image forming apparatus including the same are provided to stably read image information that is recoded on a document. CONSTITUTION: A light transmission information member(6) guides a document, which is transferred by a document transfer apparatus, in order for an image sensor(2) to read the document. A guide member includes a contact surface, a reading surface, a leading-in guide surface, and a discharge guide surface. The contact surface is contacted to a platen glass. The lead-in guide surface slopes to the reading surface. The leading-in guide surface guides the document which passes through the reading surface. |
