Abstract | PURPOSE: A light emitting diode current control module for selective feedback, and a light emitting diode and an operating method using the same are provided to control a light emitting diode channel current using one light emitting diode current control module, thereby reducing the entire mounting area. CONSTITUTION: An operation mode selecting unit(110) selects an operation mode according to an inputted enable signal level. An enable signal level of the operation mode selecting unit has three signal levels. A channel dividing unit(120) divides a plurality of light emitting diode channels into at least one group by the selected operation mode. A minimum voltage selecting unit(130) selects a light emitting diode channel in which the minimum voltage is detected by comparing voltages detected in a lower part of the light emitting diode channel. A feedback controller(140) transfers the minimum voltage of the light emitting diode channel to a DC/DC converter. |
