Abstract PURPOSE: A method for enhancing performance in a cell edge region is provided to enhance the communication performance of a terminal at a cell edge and a sector edge by transmitting a following sub-packet from a different cell. CONSTITUTION: Cell A and cell B respectively transmit a sub-packet. If there is an error in the packet, a mobile terminal transmits an NACK(Non Acknowledgement) response message to the cells A and B. The cell A re-transmits the packet. If the packet has an error again, the mobile terminal transmits the NACK response message to the cells A and B again. The cell B re-transmits the packet, and the packet is successfully received to the terminal.
