Abstract | PURPOSE: A conversion facility for an intersection is provided to help smooth passage of a product transfer vehicle at an intersection because the vehicle is supported with a conversion rail for guide as well as a conversion tail for travel. CONSTITUTION: A conversion facility for an intersection comprises a conversion unit which switches between a first conversion state for passing a product transfer vehicle(3) to a first path at an intersection where the first path and a second path cross each other and a second conversion state for passing the vehicle to the second path. Guide rails and travel rails are installed on first entrance and exit of the first path and second entrance and exit of the second path. The guide rails guide rollers provided on the upper part of the vehicle and the travel rails guide and support wheels provided on the lower part of the vehicle. A rotating guide rail(42) and a rotating travel rail(44) are installed in the intersection, and one sides of the rails are pressed from/to guide positions to/from travel positions by a press unit(47) provided on the vehicle. |
