Summary:PURPOSE: A method for copying an optical data storage disc is provided to enhance the efficiency, quality, cost and throughput of the copying of a hologram storage medium and to supply a storage capacity much more than a previous optical system. CONSTITUTION: A method for copying an optical data storage disc is as follows. A master disc(10) having a respective single layer of data(12) is provided. The single layer of data is respectively optical-copied onto an optical data storage disc including a multi data layer. In the copying step, the optical data storage disc is transferred to the location contiguous to the master disc. In the copying step, the master disc is transferred to the location contiguous to the optical data storage disc. Two optical data storage discs are copied at the same time.
