Summary:PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for providing RFID/USN(Ubiquitous Sensor Network) integrated middleware are provided to variously associate association methods of RFID and USN by an XML document description following a rule, thereby saving maintenance costs of a system. CONSTITUTION: A device manager(110) receives ubiquitous sensor network event data. A logic device unit generates a common type electronic tag event and a common type ubiquitous sensor network event. An event combination manager(160) generates an integrated event using a mutual association action specification.
