Abstract PURPOSE: A perpendicular magnetic recording media capable of steadily recording information is provided to stabilize stability with thin protective layer and stably record information. CONSTITUTION: A perpendicular magnetic recording media capable of steadily recording information includes a substrate(110), a soft magnetic layer(140), a record film(180), and a reinforcement layer(150). The soft magnetic layer is formed on the substrate. The record film is formed on the soft magnetic layer. The reinforcement layer is interposed between the inside soft magnetic layer and the record film. The reinforcement layer includes the bonding layer prepared in the top of the high hardness layer.
