Summary:A method for roasting the coffee bean is provided to obtain the coffee bean roasted with a desired strength according to the determined roasting profile even in case of an unskilled user. A method for roasting the coffee bean comprises the steps of (23) supplying calorie to the drum accommodating the raw coffee bean, (24) stopping the calorie supply during the lead time if the temperature of the drum reaches the first set value, and (25) supplying calorie to the drum until the first popping occurs after the lead time passes; and (26) stopping the calorie supply during the first stand-by time if the first popping occurs, and (27) re-supplying calorie to the drum after the first stand-by time passes.
