Summary:A vehicle fault diagnostic system with wavelet packet analysis is provided to reduce maintenance cost of vehicles and perform exact determination of a damaged part and minute diagnosis of damage extent. A vehicle fault diagnostic system with wavelet packet analysis comprises database including a basis or a base measuring vibration and acoustic signal of idled vehicles to sense the unusual condition of the vehicles. The vehicle fault diagnostic system compares the vibration measured in the constructed database with acoustic signals and grasps the damaged part of the vehicle and warns a driver to repair the vehicle in a proper time.
