Summary: | A scheduling apparatus appropriate for a voice packet network service in which the transmission period is changed in a silence section and a talkspurt section, and a method therefor are provided to minimize the waste of radio resources, and reduce the overhead of MAP messages in the silence section. A buffer in which a voice packet received from an upper layer is stored is confirmed to check whether the change of a data transfer rate is perceived(701). If the change of the data transfer rate is sensed, a terminal inspects the change of the data transfer rate(703). If the change of the data transfer rate increases, the terminal transmits a voice bandwidth request header in which ST value is set as 1 through the allocated resources(705), and then receives an UL_MAP message(709). In case the change of the data transfer rate decreases, the terminal transmits a grant management sub header to the base station through the piggyback(707), and then receives the UL_MAP message(707). |
