Summary:A method for generating a gamma voltage, a driving circuit performing the same, and a display device having the driving circuit simplify the circuit and reduce a manufacturing cost by generating the gamma voltages of a first polarity and a second polarity by using one resistance string and improve display quality defect like a flicker phenomenon and an image sticking by applying V-T curve of an asymmetric structure. A first low voltage and a first high voltage having a first voltage range are generated in a first output terminal(213a) of a voltage generating unit. The gamma voltages of the first polarity are generated by distributing the first low voltage and the first high voltage for a first section in a gamma voltage generating unit. A second low voltage and a second high voltage with a second voltage range different from the first voltage range are generated. The gamma voltages of the second polarity are generated by distributing the second low voltage and the second high voltage for a second section. The first section is an N-th horizontal section and the second section is N+1-th the horizontal section.
