Summary:A light scanning unit and an image forming apparatus using the same are provided to reduce a variation of transmittance at a center part and a side part according to a deflected angle when an image forming lens is composed of a plastic lens. A light scanning unit includes a light source(10), a beam deflector(30), and an image forming lens(40). The light source irradiates a light beam of a predetermined wavelength. The beam deflector deflects and scans the light beam irradiated from the light source to a photoresist direction. The image forming lens includes at least one sheet of lens in order to form an image of the light deflected by the beam deflector onto the photoresist. The light scanning unit is characterized in that the light source irradiates the light beam of 500nm and less.
