Abstract | An optical device with a zoom lens is provided to decrease a thickness of the optical device in an X-direction by arranging a light receiving sensor in a Y-axis. An optical device with a zoom lens includes a first optical element(202), a second optical element(204), and a light receiving element(205). The first optical element changes a propagation path of an inlet beam. The second optical element passes or diffracts the light, whose propagation path is changed by the first optical element, and outputs the passed or diffracted beam. The light receiving element is arranged at an end of an optical path of the beam, which passes through the second optical element. The first optical element is a reflective variable focus mirror. The second optical element is a transmissive variable focus diffractive element. |
