Abstract | A service failure recovery method in a wireless communication network system is provided to perform call processing by using previously registered host IP(Internet Protocol) information without doing a DNS(Domain Name Server) query if a DNS error is generated, thus service recovery is quickly executed. A DNS(16) previously registers a host IP for a packet data service in a packet information processing unit(14). If an MS(Mobile Station)(10) uploads a packet service call to the packet information processing unit(14), the packet information processing unit(14) decides on a DNS error of the DNS(16). If the DNS error is decided on, call processing is carried out according to previously registered host IP information without doing a DNS query. |
