Summary:A system for preventing IP allocation for a clone terminal is provided to prevent an IP address from being allocated to a clone terminal by creating a hash value, necessary for user authentication, using a user key, which a user himself can only know, in the process of mobile IP registration and registering it in the home agent of a mobile communication system so that any clone terminal cannot copy or manipulate the hash value. A system for preventing IP allocation for a clone terminal comprises a mobile terminal processing module(100), which exists in the form of software in a mobile terminal, and a home agent processing module(200), which exists in the form of software in a home agent. The mobile terminal processing module processes a user key, inputted by the user of the mobile terminal, and the ESN(Electronic Serial Number) of the mobile terminal through a hash function, creates a hash value, and transmits it to the home agent. The home agent processing module registers the hash value transmitted from the mobile terminal. If an IP RRQ(Registration ReQuest) message is received, the home agent processing module compares the hash value contained in the IP RRQ message with the registered hash value and executes IP registration procedures if the two hash values are matched.
