Summary: | Catalytic nanoparticles of a composite layer capable of finally accomplishing coloring of such articles as polymers while maintaining catalytic activity, which are prepared by coating a white porous layer on the active catalytic particles after preparing active catalytic particles from active metal oxides, additives comprising the catalytic nanoparticles, and polymers comprising the additives are provided. A catalytic nanoparticle essentially comprises two constituents of FeOx and TiO2. The FeOx constituent is supported onto nano-sized TiO2. The catalytic nanoparticle is prepared by dispersing the supported FeOx and TiO2 constituents after supporting FeOx and TiO2 constituents on a catalytic support selected from the group consisting of nano-sized Al2O3, SiO2, zeolite, ZrO2, MgO, CaO and a combination thereof. A catalytic nanoparticle is formed by additionally coating a catalytic nanoparticle essentially comprising two constituents of FeOx and TiO2 with a white porous inorganic material comprising TiO2, Al2O3, SiO2, zeolite, ZrO2, MgO, CaO and a combination thereof. An additive comprises a catalytic nanoparticle formed by additionally coating a catalytic nanoparticle essentially comprising two constituents of FeOx and TiO2 with a white porous inorganic material comprising TiO2, Al2O3, SiO2, zeolite, ZrO2, MgO, CaO and a combination thereof. A polymer comprises a catalytic nanoparticle formed by additionally coating a catalytic nanoparticle essentially comprising two constituents of FeOx and TiO2 with a white porous inorganic material comprising TiO2, Al2O3, SiO2, zeolite, ZrO2, MgO, CaO and a combination thereof. |
