Abstract PURPOSE: A data output driver is provided to control the output impedance for applying to an OCD(off chip driver) calibration control mode by linearly raising the driving capability through using N number of data pull-up drivers and N number of data pull-down drivers. CONSTITUTION: A data output driver for linearly raising the driving capability that pulls up or pulls down the output terminal according to an activated control signal after receiving N number of pull-up control signal and N number of pull-down control signal, comprises a pull-up driver(210) consisting of N number of unit pull-up drivers(210_1-210_n) and N number of pull-up resistors(Ru1-Run) between each unit pull-up drivers(210_1-210_n) and the output terminal(DQ pad), for pull-up driving the output terminal in response to a pull-up data signal after being turned on by a selected pull-up control signal from the N number of pull-up control signals(ocdpu1-ocdpun); a pull-down driver consisting of N number of unit pull-down drivers and N number of pull-down resistors between each unit pull-down drivers and the output terminal(DQ pad), for pull-down driving the output terminal in response to a pull-down data signal after being turned on by a selected pull-down control signal from the N number of pull-down control signals.
