PURPOSE: A paper and the same containing apparatus is provided to contain paper one by one by removing a paper jam in a guide rail. CONSTITUTION: A paper and the same containing apparatus includes a pair of guide rails4(3), a lift table(7), and a stacker(2). The pair of guide rails are implemented with a predetermined spacing from each other and includes a guide hole guiding an edge portion of the paper and the same. The lift table emerges between the pair of guide rails. The stacker contains the paper and the same. The paper guided in the guide hole escapes from the guide hole to be contained in the stacker. A friction member is protruded to face the guide rail on both ends of the lift table on a position corresponding to the pair of guide rails. The paper and the same is slid by the friction member such that the paper and the same is not moved from the lift table, when the paper and the same escape from the hole.
