PURPOSE: A method for editing an image screen of a mobile terminal is provided to combine one photo image with a different photo image and display combined photo images in an album viewing form. CONSTITUTION: A controller reads an original photo image(311) and a background image data(313). The controller initializes x and y values indicating pixel positions(315). The controller checks the x and y positions of the selected photo image and the background image(319) and then checks whether pixels at the x and y positions have white color(321). If the pixels of the x and y positions of the background image do not have white color, the controller substitutes pixels of the background image to the x and y positions of the photo image(323). The controller checks whether the pixel is the last pixel of the corresponding line(325). The controller it is the last line of the photo image of the corresponding line(329). If the combining operation on the pixels of the last line is completed, the controller displays whether a different background image is to be selected through a display unit(333). If a different background image is not selected, the controller displays the combined photo image and stores it in an album form in the second data memory(335). The controller generates the combined photo image as small screen image data and stores it in the first data memory(337).
