Summary: | PURPOSE: A thin film transistor display panel is provided to minimize texture by forming organic protrusions to form data wiring, and improve response speed. CONSTITUTION: Gate wiring includes gate lines and gate electrodes(123) formed on an insulation substrate(110). A gate insulation film(140) is formed to cover the gate lines and the gate electrodes. Semiconductor layers(151,154) are formed on the gate insulation film. Ohmic contact layers(161,163,165) are formed on the semiconductor layers except a predetermined area. Data wiring includes data lines(171) partially overlapped with the ohmic contact layers and crossing the gate lines for defining a pixel area, and source and drain electrodes(173,175). A passivation film(180) is formed on the data wiring, having a contact hole(181b) exposing the drain electrode. Protrusions(280) are formed at parts corresponding to the data wiring on the passivation film, and are formed of an organic material. The protrusions make liquid crystal have linear inclination, and reduce a lateral field by reducing parasitic capacitance due to the data wiring. A pixel electrode(190) is formed on the passivation film corresponding to the pixel area, and is connected with the drain electrode through the contact hole. |
