Abstract PURPOSE: Provided are an aqueous ceramic slurry containing an acryl emulsion as a binder and a method for producing a ceramic tape for LTCC(low temperature co-fired ceramic) by using the aqueous ceramic slurry. The ceramic tape dose not generate environmental pollution and is not harmful to human bodies. CONSTITUTION: The aqueous ceramic slurry comprises 100pts.wt. of a metal oxide powder, 0.1-3.0pts.wt. of a dispersant, 15-50pts.wt. of water, 5-20pts.wt. of an aqueous binder, and 3-15pts.wt. of a plasticizer, wherein the aqueous binder is a mixture of the acryl emulsion and HPMC(hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose). And the method for producing the ceramic tape contains the steps of: preparing the ceramic slurry; ball-milling the ceramic slurry and then stirring under a vacuum at a fixed speed to remove residual foams from the slurry and to reach a proper viscosity; forming the defoamed ceramic slurry into a sheet. The ceramic tape for LTCC produced by the method has a thickness of 20-200 micrometer.
