PURPOSE: A system and a method for generating a request for information of a selected object on a DBMS(DataBase Management System) are provided to receive/execute the first query recorded in a uniform format on the object by translating the first query into the request for the formatted information, and to reduce cost and time for generating. CONSTITUTION: A client creates/transmits the first query to a query translation system(514). The query translation system identifies multiple object classes and filters by parsing the first query(516). The query translation system associates each object class with a class of a hierarchical structure of the objects(518). The query translation system identifies the selected object based on the filters(520). The query translation system translates the first query into the request for the formatted information for being executed on the first object(524). The request is received/processed by the first object(528). A result of the request is transmitted to the client(530).
