PURPOSE: A grouping device of a communication device, a grouping method of the communication device and a grouping program of the communication device are provided to execute a secure grouping between self communication devices and other communication devices when a time sequence of input in an input unit satisfies a predetermined rule, thereby easily and safely executing a grouping between plural specific communication devices. CONSTITUTION: A modem(1) communicates with other communication device in connection with a communication line(14). An outer interface(6) connects the modem(1) to an outer PC. A registration button(2) consists of a pressing button or a jog dial, and inputs a registration start or a registration in a secure group of the modem(1). A registration button detector(3) detects that the registration button(2) is pressed, and transmits a participation request signal to a controller(7). A modem ID buffer(4) records self or other modem ID information. A timer(5) consists of a time measurement program and a CPU, and measures time. An encoder(9) is composed of an encoded program and a CPU. The controller(7) has a storage.
