Abstract PURPOSE: A construction device for an underground passage by an arch triangular element roof method is provided to reduce the cost and period of construction for secondary reinforcement. CONSTITUTION: The construction device for an underground passage by an arch triangular element roof method comprises: a forward gear advancing triangular elements, propulsion steel pipes(K), a steel pipe for footing reinforcement and a coating steel pipe for drainage; a propulsion tip device formed on the front of the forward gear to advance various steel pipes and excavate; and a draft cable leading device formed on the opposite side of the forward gear to pull a draft cable connected to the front end of the advancing triangular element which guides the advancing direction of the triangular element exactly. Wherein the forward gear contains a bearing wall installed on the rearmost part, an H-beam structure installed on the front of the bearing wall, a saw-toothed rail installed on the H-beam structure, and a hydraulic propulsion system located on the upper part of the saw-toothed rail.
