PURPOSE: A welding state inspecting apparatus for a welder is provided to determine a fault of a welding state by detecting a welding temperature, welding current, and pressure of a welding wheel. CONSTITUTION: A welding state inspecting apparatus includes a temperature sensor section(110) for detecting a welding temperature for a strip, a current measuring device(126) for measuring current applied to upper and lower welding wheels, and a pressure meter(132) for measuring pressure supplied between the upper and lower welding wheels. A microcomputer(124) is provided to generate a fault signal when current and pressure detected by the current measuring device(126) and the pressure meter(132) are different from reference current and reference pressure. An output control section is provided to notify the fault signal to an exterior. 본 발명은, 스트립의 용접 온도를 감지하기 위한 온도센서부와, 상기 상하부 용접휠에 공급되는 전류량을 측정하기 위한 전류측정기와, 상기 상하부 용접휠 사이에 공급되는 압력치를 측정하기 위한 압력측정기와, 상기 스트립의 기준 용접 온도에 따른 기준 전류량 및 기준 압력치가 설정되어 있고, 상기 온도센서부에 측정된 용접 온도에서 기준 전류량 및 기준 압력치를 상기 전류측정기로부터 제공된 전류량과 상기 압력측정기로부터 제공된 압력치와 비교하여 소정의 차이가 발생될 때에 용접상태 불량 신호를 발생시키는 마이컴과, 상기 마이컴으로부터 발생된 불량 신호를 외부에 통지하기 위한 출력제어부를 포함하는 용접상태 판단장치를 제공한다. 본 발명에 따르면, 객관적이고 정확한 기준으로 용접상태를 판단할 수 있으므로, 판파단의 위험성을 줄이고 균일한 용접성을 확보하여 안정된 조업 여건을 조성할 수 있다.
