PURPOSE: To provide a tin or tin-alloy plating bath having greatly improved solderability, stannate and stannic acid or complexing-agent solutions for the preparation or maintenance/ supply of the plating bath, and electrical/electronic parts produced by using the plating bath. CONSTITUTION: The plating bath is a tin plating bath or a tin-alloy plating bath which consists of tin and one or more metals selected from the group (1) consisting of copper, zinc, silver, indium, gold, and bismuth. Further, this plating bath contains, as essential components, at least one or more kinds among the following components (A) to (D): (A) bivalent tin ions in an amount of 5-200 g/L; (B) one or more kinds among acids or complexing agents forming water-soluble salts or complexes together with the bivalent tin ions, in a total amount not smaller than the stoichiometrically equivalent weight based on the bivalent tin ions; (C) one or more metals selected from the group consisting of the group IB to VB elements in the fourth to sixth period of the periodic table, excluding tin, mercury, thallium and the elements contained in the above group (1), in a total amount of 20-2,000 ppm based on the amount of tin; and (D) one or more kinds among antioxidants in an amount of 1 mg/L to 10 g/L in total. 납땜특성이 크게 개선된 주석 또는 주석계 합금 도금욕, 상기 도금욕의 건욕용 또는 유지·보급용의 주석염 및 산 또는 착화제용액 및 상기 도금욕을 이용해서 제작한 전기·전자 부품을 제공한다. 상기 도금욕은, 주석 도금욕 또는 주석과 다음의(가)군: 구리, 아연, 은, 인듐, 금 및 비스무트로부터 선택되는 1종 또는 2종 이상의 금속과의 주석계열합금 도금욕으로서, 적어도 하기 성분(A)~(D):(A) 5g/L이상 200g/L이하의 2가의 주석 이온, (B) 2가의 주석 이온에 대해서 합계해서 화학량론적으로 당량(當量) 이상의, 상기 2가의 주석 이온과 수용성염 또는 착체를 형성하는 산 또는 착화제의 1종 또는 2종 이상, (C) 주석에 대해서 합계해서 20ppm 이상 2000ppm 이하의, 주기율표의 제4~6 주기의 IB~VB족원소 중 주석, 수은, 탈륨 및 상기(가) 군에 포함되는 원소를 제외한 원소로부터 선택되는 금속의 1종 또는 2종 이상, (D) 합계해서 1mg/L이상 10g/L이하의, 산화 방지제의 1종 또는 2종 이상을 필수의 성분으로서 함유하는 것을 특징으로 한다.
