PURPOSE: A vertical carrying device is provided to reduce the space for installation, to carry in or out of products using a carrying unit operated simply and promptly, and to perform carrying in/out of the products regardless of the size. CONSTITUTION: A vertical carrying device comprises: at least two pairs of drive sprockets driven by a drive motor mounted on a frame; a pair of first roller chains(30) and a pair of second roller chains(40) guided into a direction by the drive sprockets; plural pallets(50) combined to the first and second roller chains at a certain interval and whereon plural mollers are mounted; a power supply unit selectively supplying current to the pallets; and a control circuit controlling the power supply unit and the drive motor. Herein, products are freely carried in/out without limitation on working stages. Moving pallets are also carried in/out promptly. Therefore, work efficiency is improved. Since a carrying in/out unit is not separately installed in plural working stages, installation space is reduced. Accordingly, spatial efficiency is improved.
