PURPOSE: A measuring device of a bullhorn bracket lug is provided to reduce error in measurement and to shorten working time remarkably by measuring the machining state of a mechanism with a simple gauge instead of comparing the mechanism with a new product. CONSTITUTION: Two pin bolts(2) are fixed by nuts(3) in the internal center of a base plate of a gauge. A lower support unit(5) having couple of gauges(4) is mounted at the rear of the base plate. The gauges are moved back and forth together with the lower support unit along a guide groove(12) of the base plate. Thereby, a distance between both bullhorn bracket lugs, size and shape of the lugs are measured. To measure the machining process of the both bullhorn bracket lugs, the bullhorn bracket is fixed by the two pin bolts on the base plate. Additional gauges(4) having forward bracket gussets shape are mounted at both ends of the base plate having the fixed bullhorn bracket. The distance and size of the bullhorn bracket lugs are compared when the lower support unit is moved back and forth. The lugs pass through gauge grooves(42) if the size and distance of the machined bullhorn bracket lugs are processed to the original size. Therefore, the process is finished.
