Abstract PURPOSE: A vibration control equipment of propeller shaft and control method the same copes with multitudinous resonant frequencies by installing a weighting body moving by a shaft direction in a propeller shaft corresponding to a vibration generated depending on the running speed of a vehicle. CONSTITUTION: The accelerometer(54) senses a vibration acceleration and outputs signals. The control unit(53) receives signals from the accelerometer(54) and grasps the vibration modes of a propeller shaft(51). The actuator(52) functions following the signals from the control unit(53). The push rod(56) moves forward and backward by the movement of the actuator(52). The weighting body(55) connects with one end of the push rod(56) and controls the vibration by moving from side to side in the propeller shaft(51).
