Abstract PURPOSE: A method for generating a module for using an IETM(interactive electronic technical manual) as a course ware is provided to shorten time for moving and searching by forming a technical manual electronically and to analyze understanding of a learner to a product with a module as well as to use manual data in real time by searching the technical manual easily. CONSTITUTION: A paper manual or video/audio data are inputted from outside. The input data are converted into electronic data for forming an IETM and then saved as a DB(database). A course ware module is formed for a user to adopt the electronic data as a course ware. Finally, a learning estimating module is generated to estimate understanding of the user after the user learns the IETM by the courseware module. Thus, the learning estimating module analyzes learning achievement degree of the user, time required for each paragraph of the IETM as well as learning pattern and path of the user.
