Summary: | PURPOSE: A preparing method of 1,3-propane diol by hydroformylation of ethylene oxide in the presence of a catalyst and hydrogenating is provided which produces the title compound selectively and economically. CONSTITUTION: A title compound is prepared by hydroformylating etylene oxide using secondary organic amine of the formula or salt thereof as a reaction accelerating agent and hydrogenating. In formula, R1,R2,R3,R4,R5R6 are independently H, C1-25 straight or side chained allyl or phenyl groups containing alkyl or acyl substitutes in which R1,R2,R3 and R4,R5,R6 may be independently alkyl, acyl, alkoxyl-containing annulated aliphatic hydrocarbon or aromatic annulated structure, or alkyl, alkoxyl and carboalkoxyl-containing annulated aliphatic hydrocarbon annulated structure with one alkyl of R1,R2,R3 and one alkyl of R4,R5,R6. |
