Abstract | PURPOSE: A ball joint is provided to firmly combine a socket portion with a ball stud portion and to easily separate them from each other by improving the structure of the socket unit combined with the ball stud unit. CONSTITUTION: A ball seat unit(50) is combined in an accepting groove(41) of a socket unit(40). Herein, a male screw unit(51) is formed on an outer face of the ball seat unit and a female screw unit(44) is formed on an inner face. When the ball seat unit is entered while rotated, the ball seat enters an inner part while sinking in an accepting groove(41). Further, the ball seat unit is not connected so that a certain marginal space is formed between a slant face(43) and a projection(52). Thus, the projection is expanded toward the marginal space upon the entrance of the projection. In this state, when the ball enters through an inlet portion(42) of the accepting groove, the projection is pushed by the ball and expanded to the marginal space. The ball finally enters the inside of the ball seat unit. |
