Abstract PURPOSE: A wireless communication method is provided to receive data from a base station at N phases of variable numbers comprising a single phase mode, a total phase mode and a multi phase mode. CONSTITUTION: In a wireless communication method, an origination message comprising identification information is transferred through a control channel by a mobile unit(601). A base transceiver station(BTS) transfers a phase allotment value and an address allotment value to the mobile unit in response to the origination message. The mobile unit receives the phase and address allotment values from the BTS(602), and commences a seizure operation of all data traffics at all phase of the data traffic channel(603). The mobile unit discharges data from an unnecessary phase to filter out the data traffic at the allotted phase(604). The mobile unit verifies an address associated with the data traffic from the allotted phase, and processes the received data when being identical to the allotment address provided from the mobile unit by the BTS(605).
