Abstract | The present invention relates to a method for transmitting a self-diagnosis result of an automated external defibrillator (AED) and, more specifically, to a technology where the results of a self-diagnosis function where the status of the AED is autonomously checked are converted into sound information to allow a user to identify the state information, so that a specific state of the AED can be identified and communication and security can be reinforced. The method of the present invention comprises the steps of: preparing an AED with a self-diagnosis function and a diagnosis result receiver that receives the AED's self-diagnosis results; performing a self-diagnosis function provided in the AED; converting the self-diagnosis results into audible frequencies; outputting the converted audible frequency to the outside through a speaker; allowing the microphone of the diagnosis result receiver to receive the audible frequency outputted through the speaker; converting the audible frequency received by the diagnosis result receiver into self-diagnosis information; and identifying the AED and checking the diagnosis result through the converted self-diagnosis information.
