Summary:The present invention relates to a pithead construction method for tunnel excavation work, which can minimize slope cutting by considering a geographic condition of a pithead installation point and reinforce the ground at the pithead installation point during pithead construction for tunnel excavation work performed before tunnel excavation work. The pithead construction method includes: a first step (S100) of forming a portion of cutting a temporary slope; a second step (S200) of horizontally inserting a steel pipe for pithead ground reinforcement; a third step (S300) of vertically inserting a large-caliber steel pipe onto the ground; a fourth step (S400) of connecting and installing an arch-shaped structure; a fifth step (S500) of forming a temporary portal of tunnel; and a sixth step (S600) of forming a pithead reinforcement unit. 본 발명은 터널 굴착 공사 전에 선행되는 터널 굴착 공사용 갱구부 시공 시, 갱구부 설치 지점의 지형 여건을 고려하여 사면 절취를 최소화하고, 갱구부가 설치되는 지점의 지반을 보강하도록 하는 터널 굴착 공사용 갱구부 시공 방법에 관한 발명으로, 임시사면 절취부를 형성하는 제1 단계(S100), 갱구부 지반 보강용 강관을 수평 삽입하는 제2 단계(S200), 대구경 강관을 지면에 수직 삽입하는 제3 단계(S300), 아치형 구조물을 연결 설치하는 제4 단계(S400), 가설 갱문을 형성하는 제5 단계(S500), 갱구 보강부를 형성하는 제6 단계(S600)를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다.
