According to an embodiment of the present invention, provided are a method for providing information on whether an item can be ordered, a device for performing the same, and a computer-readable recording medium for storing a computer program for performing the same. The method of the present invention comprises the steps of: receiving, from a vendor device, first information indicating whether an item can be ordered; receiving second information requesting confirmation of order availability from an orderer device; identifying the item to be confirmed whether to be ordered based on the second information; determining whether the item can be ordered based on the first and second information; generating third information indicating the order availability on the basis of determination of the order availability; and transmitting the third information to the orderer device in response to reception of the second information.
