The present invention relates to a system and a method for controlling heating of a boiler using indoor and outdoor external temperature sensors. According to the present invention, the system for controlling heating of a boiler using indoor and outdoor external temperature sensors comprises: indoor and outdoor external temperature sensors individually installed in a boiler as an indoor unit and an outdoor unit; and a control unit. The control unit controls heating at a detection temperature of the outdoor external temperature sensor when a signal of the outdoor external temperature sensor is normally input when the indoor and outdoor external temperature sensors are set in an automatic switchover mode. Also, the control unit periodically detects external temperature whenever first external temperature determination time (t1) passes. The control unit controls the heating at the detection temperature of the indoor external temperature sensor when the signal of the outdoor external temperature sensor is abnormally input. Also, the control unit periodically detects the external temperature by stopping combustion and operating a blast fan whenever second external temperature determination time (t2) passes. Moreover, the control unit generates an error when the signal of the indoor and outdoor external temperature sensors is out of a normal range. 내외장형 외기온도센서를 이용한 보일러의 난방제어 시스템 및 방법에 관하여 개시한다. 본 발명은, 보일러에 내외장형으로 각각 설치되는 내외장형 외기온도센서; 및 상기 내외장형 외기온도센서가 자동 절체 모드로 설정된 경우, 상기 외장형 외기온도센서의 신호입력이 정상적으로 입력되면 상기 외장형 외기온도센서의 검출온도로 난방 운전을 제어하되 제1 외기온도 판단시간(t1) 경과시 마다 외기온도를 주기적으로 검출하고, 상기 외장형 외기온도센서의 신호입력이 비정상적으로 입력되면 상기 내장형 외기온도센서의 검출온도로 난방 운전을 제어하되 제2 외기온도 판단시간(t2) 경과시 마다 연소를 멈추고 송풍팬을 가동하여 외기온도를 주기적으로 검출하며, 상기 내외장형 외기온도센서의 신호입력이 정상범위를 벗어나는 경우 에러를 발생시키는 제어부;로 구성될 수 있다.
