Abstract | The present invention relates to a filtering method and an apparatus for reducing a wake-up frequency. According to an embodiment of the present invention, provided are the filtering method and apparatus for reducing a wake-up frequency which receive a beacon signal (BCN) periodically from an access point (AP) and maintain a sleep mode or process a wake-up for only a part of modules of hardware (HR) or software (SW) necessary for communication according to a data transmission type within a traffic indication message included in the BCN.
웨이크업 빈도를 줄이기 위한 필터링 방법 및 장치를 개시한다. 본 실시예는 AP(Access Point)로부터 주기적으로 비콘 신호(BCN: Beacon Signal)를 수신하고, 비콘 신호에 포함된 TIM(Traffic Indication Message)내의 데이터 전송 유형에 따라 슬립모드(Sleep Mode)를 유지하거나 하드웨어(HW), 소프트웨어(SW) 중 통신에 필수적으로 필요한 일부 모듈만을 웨이크-업하도록 처리하도록 하는 웨이크업 빈도를 줄이기 위한 필터링 방법 및 장치를 제공한다. |
