Abstract A technical objective of the present invention is to provide a cutting insert capable of improving chip processability. According to the present invention, the cutting insert comprises: a cutting insert path including an upper surface, a lower surface, and a plurality of side surfaces connecting the upper surface and the lower surface. The upper surface includes a first corner cut-in, and a first and a second side cut-in forming both side edges around the first corner cut-in. In addition, the first corner cut-in can be asymmetrical to the left and right on the basis of a center line when viewed toward the upper surface, and the center line passes through a center point of the fastening hole penetrating the center of the upper surface and can have the same angle with respect to the first and second side cut-in. 본 발명은 칩처리성을 개선할 수 있는 절삭 인서트를 제공하는 것이 그 기술적 과제이다. 이를 위해, 본 발명의 절삭 인서트는, 상면과, 하면과, 상기 상면과 상기 하면을 연결하는 복수의 측면을 포함하는 절삭 인서트로, 상기 상면은, 제1 코너 절인; 및 상기 제1 코너 절인을 중심으로 양측 가장자리를 이루는 제1 및 제2 사이드 절인;을 포함한다. 그리고, 상기 상면을 향해 볼 때, 상기 제1 코너 절인은 중심선을 기준으로 좌우 비대칭일 수 있고, 상기 중심선은 상기 상면의 중심을 관통하는 체결공의 중심점을 지나며 상기 제1 및 제2 사이드 절인 대해 동일한 각을 이룰 수 있다.
