Abstract The present invention relates to a method for detecting interlock failure of a connector in an eco-friendly vehicle. A main purpose of the present invention is to offer the method for detecting the interlock failure of the connector to decrease the number of connector pins and a size of the same, and reduce costs by eliminating an existing interlock circuit. The present invention relates to a method for detecting the interlock failure of the connector which links a gap between a motor controller and a gate driver coupled to an inverter for operating a motor. A signal control unit is configured in the motor controller to input a sensing signal from the gate driver through the connector. According to the present invention, when a detected output value of the signal control unit is over a preset normal sensing value range, the interlock failure of the connector is determined. 본 발명은 친환경 자동차의 커넥터 체결 불량 검출 방법에 관한 것으로서, 기존의 인터락 회로가 삭제될 수 있고, 이를 통해 커넥터 핀 수 축소, 사이즈 축소 및 원가 절감을 도모할 수 있는 친환경 자동차의 커넥터 체결 불량 검출 방법을 제공하는데 주된 목적이 있는 것이다. 상기한 목적을 달성하기 위해, 모터 구동용 인버터에 연결된 게이트 드라이버와 모터 제어기 사이를 연결하는 커넥터의 체결 불량을 검출하기 위한 방법에 있어서, 상기 모터 제어기 내에서 게이트 드라이버로부터 커넥터를 통해 센싱 신호가 입력되도록 구비된 신호처리부의 출력값이 미리 정해진 정상 센싱 범위를 벗어난 값으로 검출되는 경우 커넥터의 체결 불량으로 판단하는 것을 특징으로 하는 친환경 자동차의 커넥터 체결 불량 검출 방법이 개시된다.
