Abstract | The present invention relates to an apparatus for machining a wound core which has an improved structure to form gaps in a plurality of wound cores or cut the wound cores at the same time, and to enable an operator to randomly determine the machining positions of the wound cores; and a machining method thereof. The apparatus for machining a wound core includes: a main body having a table shape; a bed configured to be movable from left to right on the main body; a plurality of clamping parts mounted on the bed, and configured to rotatably couple one end portion of a jig with wound cores coupled thereto; a support part configured to support the other end portion of the jig on a position spaced apart from the clamping unit; a cutting part shaft fixated on an upper side of the clamped jig having a rotating blade rotated by the rotational power of a motor; a treating water spraying part configured to spray treating water onto a machined portion when the wound cores are cut by the cutting part; a moving part configured to move the bed from left to right; and a control unit configured to control the operation of the components in order to cut the wound cores. |
