Abstract The present invention relates to a connecting method for an expansion joint and a joining apparatus. According to the present invention, both ends of the expansion joints are cut and then connected so that the ends are connected correctly and firmly. The method comprises twelve stages including the steps in which both ends of a square fabric (100) are connected to each other to form holes right and left (10, 20); the holes (10, 20) having right and left ropes (30, 40) are inserted thereto; and a rubber plate (200) is integrally formed on the surface of the fabric (100) which is made of multiple layers.
