PURPOSE: A drive unit of welding gun is provided to minimize the rotation and wobble generated by a pressure shaft coupled to a front end and the rotating shaft of operation electrode coupled to the front end of pressure shaft, thereby stably performing the match-point with a stationary electrode. CONSTITUTION: A drive unit of welding gun comprises a housing (11), a bearing supporting hollow shaft (18), a rotating shaft (33), a coupling (22), a ball screw shaft (19), a ball nut (21), and a pressuring shaft. The pressuring shaft operates to be protruded from the other side of the housing by being integrally connected to the tip end that is apart from a motor of ball nut. The front end of the pressuring shaft is coupled to the other side electrode. A through hole that is formed on the outer side surface of the motor side opening of the housing in the vertical direction to the extension direction of rotating shaft of motor is formed so as to screw to the coupling and reach a separation tool from the outside of housing.
